Opal Sunn are back on Planet Sundae with their first sample pack. They recently started working on a new sound palette as an effort to broaden their studio process. Over the last few years, jamming in their studio was at the heart of their creative process. This all changed with the arrival of the quarantine, and the loss of performing grounds. The crisis presented them with an introspective period, and time was abundant to record in the studio. And so the first of the series was born.
These sounds and loops were carefully crafted, produced and recorded, while considering usability, and putting sound quality as top priority. From one shots to long modulations, intricate percussive loops and lush pads, this sample pack explores Opal Sunn’s signature sound.
We hope you’ll enjoy making music with these. We’re always keen to hear what you’ll make out of them, so give us a shout should you be inclined to do so.
